Rules on Bike lights
If you're bike is used in the dark or in times of poor visibility you need to have lights fitted.
# white front light
# red rear light
# red rear reflector
# amber/yellow pedal reflectors - front and rear on each pedal.
You can also make yourself more visble with bright clothing or fluorescent waistcoats. The more you can do to make yourself visible in the dark the better.
Parents - get lights fitted to your bike and your kids bikes.
Don't ride your bike in the dark without lights. If your lights fail then stop and sort it out, get new batteries or push the bike home.
Don't ride on the pavement if you have no lights! You might hit a pedestrian.
